Prepare to enter a disco fever dream at Burnaby’s grandest annual festival! This year, Hastings Street will be transformed into a funky, 70s-inspired celebration, complete with a street parade, car show, live music, food, and much more.

Hats Off Day promises to be an unforgettable street party, perfect for dedicated disco enthusiasts and anyone seeking a vibrant community event.

The day begins at 9:30 A.M. with the Family Fun Dash, an exciting race for kids. At 10 A.M., the Hats Off Day Parade commences, rolling along Hastings Street from Beta Avenue to Boundary Road, so be sure to secure a curbside viewing spot. From 11 A.M. to 4 P.M., the street party unfolds from Gamma Avenue to Boundary Road, offering entertainment, live music, kids’ activities, and delicious food in a vibrant, disco-infused atmosphere.

Also from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M., the Show & Shine Car Show displays classic and custom vehicles along Hastings Street, spanning from Gamma to Willingdon Avenues; you might even discover a vintage ride reminiscent of the 70s.
